John Costa
John was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 2002 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts. His studies focused on political science and history. He also received a Master of Arts in Comparative Politics from the University of York in England. Since 2006 John's worked as a policy advisor in a number of fields, including road safety, policing and Aboriginal issues. When not working within the confines of a carpet-walled jungle, John is also a freelance writer. He has a keen interest in travelling, writing, graphic design and photography. He designed the corporate identity of an urban planning consultancy in Wales and received honourable mentions for other logo designs. His most memorable moments include travelling across the United States on a road trip with his brother and attending the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
